Culture into nursing homes

CDCHA is committed to bringing cultural connection and joy to seniors through meaningful arts experiences.

The program featured traditional Chinese dance, introductory Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) wellness activities, and four world-class Intangible Cultural Heritage experiences, including calligraphy, paper cutting, shadow puppetry, and movable-type printing. Through gentle movement, hands-on activities, and cultural storytelling, residents were encouraged to participate, interact, and reconnect with creativity and cultural curiosity.

These visits fostered warmth, intergenerational understanding, and emotional connection, demonstrating how cultural arts can enhance well-being and bring communities together within seniors’ care settings.
